A LOCK knife and cannabis was seized after police spotted a teen pair suspected of dealing drugs behind Kingshill garages.
The officers, patroling the area on bicycles, managed to stop one of the men. Searching him, they found cash and cannabis - and custody officers at Gablecross police station later found a knife on him.
The man, 18, was charged with possession of cannabis and a knife.
Sgt Mason Johnson of South Swindon community policing team said: “This is an excellent example of proactive Policing within our communities.
"We have received a number of reports in relation to drug activity in this area and I would hope that yesterday’s enforcement will act as a deterrent to others.
"I would like to urge the public to continue to report any suspicions they have in relation to drug supply in our town. This can be done via 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111."
