A SUSPECTED drug den in Swindon has been shut down by police.
Officers have been granted a partial closure notice at an address in Sackville Close in a bid to tackle drug-related activity and anti-social behaviour.
The three-month closure notice means that anyone other than the named resident is prohibited from entering the property
The order was sought after two men were found at the address yesterday.
Christopher Bonner, 49, of Dennis Street, been charged with possession of a class B drug and is due at Swindon Magistrates' Court on September 4.
Acting Sergeant Paul Bezzant said: "To date, this is the seventeenth order granted in Swindon by the Magistrates this year and all have been extremely effective in reducing drug activity and anti-social behaviour.
"We will continue to use these court orders to protect vulnerable people."
