Wiltshire police invited young people to develop a digital game based around the theme of staying safe online.
Youngsters were encouraged to take part in a coding competition for July’s #CyberLife campaign.
Applicants came up with their own team name and logo, and presented their game to judges via a two minutes video hosted on YouTube.
Judges from the Digital Investigation and Intelligence Unit decided on an overall winner for a primary and secondary school age category.
Detective Inspector Gemma Vinton said; “We were overwhelmed by the number of entries we received, all of which were very impressive and of a high standard.
"We all need to be more mindful of the ever changing face of cybercrime, and that our ‘switched-on’ lives can cause additional risks."
The winners will be unveiled next week when they will be invited for a tour of police headquarters and receive their prize, a raspberry pi computer.
