A MAN who wanted to give something back has donated money to homeless charity Harp.
In a bid to build his fitness back up after an injury, Daniel Vanhinsberg started working for Uber Eats earlier this year, delivering food on his bike.
In July, he donated all the tips he earned to Harp, giving the charity a fantastic £50, after seeing an increase in rough sleeping in the town.
The 27-year-old, from Southend, said: “I grew up in Southend, and then lived abroad for five years, but when I came back last year it was a shock to see the difference in the town as the increase in rough sleeping was really noticeable.
“Harp have been doing this work for a long time and really know what’s behind homelessness in Southend. As someone looking in from the outside, this was one small way I could make a difference.”
