TWIN singers Billy and Louie Hughes recorded and released their first single Changed while studying for GCSE exams.

The 16-year-old duo have have had a busy year performing gigs including Swindon and Wiltshire Pride in the Old Town Bowl and the MFor Festival in Lydiard Park.

Billy said: "It's been amazing, it rained at both of our biggest gigs but everyone stayed and sang along despite the weather, which actually helped when we did Purple Rain.

"It's been difficult doing GCSEs and recording music at our home studio, but the teachers at Commonweal have been amazing+

"We've always loved music and five years ago, we started singing at different venues and it really took off when we won a competition with Swindon 105.5 in 2017."

Louie said: "When we were really young, we listened to music all the time and that's how it all began. We want to tour and sing live in front of an audience as much as possible.

"Our mum is our number one supporter and she helps us in every way she can."

Their grandmother Elspeth Hughes said: "I remember them standing on the picnic table in our garden and singing to the neighbours when they were little, they've come so far since then."

The music video for the first song off their upcoming EP is out today. Their EP will be out later this year.
