LAWN: A 15-year-old boy was given an eight month youth referral order after he admitted burgling a house in Windsor Road in October 2017. The youth, who cannot be named as he is under-18, was also ordered to pay £20 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

TOWN CENTRE: A 17-year-old boy admitted robbing another man of £40 cash. The boy, who cannot be named, was sentenced at Swindon Youth Court to a 10 month youth referral order. He must pay £40 compensation and £105 in costs and surcharge.

WALCOT: Daniel Quelch, 18, of Lennox Drive, was banned from driving for six months after he admitted driving a Derbi motorcycle without insurance or a licence. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

M4: Shkelzen Tocilla, 28 of Old Farm Road, West Drayton, was fined £1,000 and banned from the roads for six months, after he was convicted of speeding and driving his Audi A4 without insurance and a licence. The three charges against the London man were deemed proved in his absence. Magistrates demanded he pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

GRANGE PARK: Nina Austin, 41, of Holinshed Place, was jailed for 25 weeks after stealing £50-worth of steak from Iceland, cutlery and Fairy tablets from Wilko. She must pay £75 compensation and a £37 victim surcharge.

PARK SOUTH: A thief who repeatedly raided Co-op stores for meat and booze has been jailed for a total of 42 weeks. James Cherry, 26, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to 12 counts of shoplifting and a charge he burgled McColls, Covingham Square, and took £60 cash.

The total value of his shoplifting spree came to more than £850, with Cherry also taking perfume from Debenhams, clothing from House of Fraser and goods from TK Maxx. He was ordered to pay a £149 victim surcharge.

STRATTON: David Mundy, 30, of Pinnocks Place, was told to pay £119.94 compensation to Aldi after he admitted stealing six bottles of alcohol from the supermarket.

TOOTHILL: Lee Sparks, 38, of Beaulieu Close, was fined £100 for stealing almost £55-worth of aftershave from the Brunel Centre branch of Boots on August 3. Sparks, who admitted theft, ordered he pay a £32 victim surcharge and costs of £85. It was deemed paid by time served.

CHURCHWARD: Thomas Kennedy, 45, of Lynmouth Road, was told to do another rehabilitation day, after he failed to attend unpaid work sessions. A 12 week suspended prison sentence, handed to Kennedy in June for driving while disqualified, was not activated by magistrates. Kennedy admitted breaching his order.

M4: Zain Aziz, 25, of Scarborough Road, was fined £550 for speeding on the motorway and his licence endorsed with six penalty points. Aziz, who admitted speeding in his VW Golf on February 5, was also ordered to pay a £55 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

CRICKLADE: Caitlin Bowles, 43, of Zakopane Road, was fined £266 and banned from driving for seven days after she admitted driving an Audi A1 at Cricklade without insurance. She must pay £115 in costs and surcharge.

M4: Aaron Bull, 31, of Beech Avenue, was fined £100 for speeding on the M4. Magistrates also disqualified VW Golf driver Bull from getting behind the wheel for two weeks. Bull, who admitted the charge, must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

RODBOURNE: Aisosa Ihama, 23, of Fire Fly Avenue, was banned from driving for six months and fined £400 for driving a Toyota Aygo along Great Western Way on February 9 without insurance or a valid licence. The driver, who admitted the two charges, must pay £115 in costs and surcharge.

M4: Dina Kassim, 28, of Heron Way, Newport, admitted driving a Ford Fiesta on the motorway near Swindon without due care and attention. She was fined £420, given six points on her licence and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £42 victim surcharge.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Wayne Rust, 57, of Woodshaw Mead, admitted driving without due care and attention at the BP service station in the town, driving without insurance or a valid MOT. He must pay £847 in fines and court charges. Magistrates added six penalty points to his licence.

TOWN CENTRE: Alline Vecci-Rosa, 37, of Crombey Street, was fined £880 for driving a Mercedes on Farnsby Street without a licence or insurance. Her licence was endorsed with six penalty points after the charges were deemed proven in her absence.
