POLICE have appealed for help to trace a "very upset and unwell" man who has gone missing from his Christchurch home.

David Munisamy, 48, was reported missing at 10.55am on Saturday August 24 after he left in his car, a blue Saab with the registration RK08 OBA, about an hour earlier.

He is described as five feet 11 inches tall, of stocky build and with tanned skin. He is bald and has no facial hair. When he was last seen, he was wearing a dark tracksuit.

Chief Inspector Lindsay Dudfield, of Dorset Police, said: “We believe David is very upset and unwell and are therefore concerned for his welfare.

“Officers are making a number of enquiries in an effort to find him, but as he has driven off in his car he could have already travelled some distance and we need the public’s help to locate him.

“I am hoping somebody may have seen David or his car today, which might help us in our search.”

Information to Dorset Police on 101, quoting incident number 24:181.
