POLICE have arrested a man following an hour-long standoff in Stratton.
Officers were called to Darling Close, Upper Stratton, at around 7.30pm to reports of what residents described as gunshots.
According to one eyewitness, heavily armed police quickly surrounded the home. There ensued a stand-off, with the gunman said to have traded shots with cops.
Further shots could be heard at around 9pm.
"It was scary," said one teen who witnessed the drama unfold.
