TOWN CENTRE: Drink-driver Thomas Rodrigues, 29, of Station Road, was given a 22-month driving ban. Tests showed he was over twice the drink-drive limit when he was stopped behind the wheel of his Vauxhall Mokka on July 8. He was fined £230 and ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

WEST SWINDON: Transit van driver Sean Tuffy, 32, of Bankfoot Close, was fined £700 for driving without due care and attention and failing to stop at the scene of an accident on the A420 in January. His licence was endorsed with five points and he was told to pay £135 in victim surcharge and costs.

PARK SOUTH: James Bailey, 42, of Cranmore Avenue, was fined £213 for damaging a windscreen. He must pay £100 compensation, costs of £85 and a £90 victim surcharge.

COVINGHAM: Dawn Barnett, 47, of Covingham Square, was sentenced to a 12-month conditional discharge and banned from entering the square’s Co-op after she pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour. She was told to pay a £21 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

WEST SWINDON: Wesley Keel, 41, of Stonefield Close, admitted taking more than £300 of goods from Wilko. He was ordered to pay compensation.

LIDEN: Nar Malla, 56, of Abney Moor, was banned from the roads for two years after admitting a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Tests showed he had 96 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.

He must do 80 hours of unpaid work, pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

TOWN CENTRE: Navid Safai, 22, of Downs Road, Canterbury, will appear before Swindon Crown Court charged with possession of crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply, possession of £190 criminally-acquired cash and eight counts supplying crack cocaine and heroin to undercover officers. He was bailed to appear before the crown court for a plea hearing on August 30. Under his bail conditions he must not enter Swindon.

OLD TOWN: Paul White, 55, of Bath Road, was sentenced to four months imprisonment suspended for a year after he pleaded guilty to possession of a locking knife. White was told to complete 20 rehabilitation days and pay a £122 victim surcharge.

TOWN CENTRE: Philip Brown, 40, of Dixon Street, admitted stalking. He followed his victim, sent her a social media message, published images of her on social media, loitered near her workplace and watched her.

The case was adjourned to September 27 for psychiatric reports to be prepared. Brown was ordered to comply with a night time curfew and not to visit Holbrook Way.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Jordan Allaway, 21, of Rose Street, Rodbourne, admitted driving his Toyota Corolla without due care and attention. The incident happened on Noremarsh Road, Wootton Bassett, on September 29 last year. He was fined £70 and ordered to pay £30 costs and an £85 victim surcharge. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

HAYDON WICK: Jason Taylor, 31, of Burnet Close, was given a six-month conditional discharge after he admitted a charge of assault by beating. He must pay costs of £85 and a £21 victim surcharge.

M4: Stacey Davies, 31, of Moorfields Drive, Bath, was fined £660 and ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs for driving while uninsured along the M4 near Swindon. She was also given a six-month driving ban.
