Members of the Tuesday Art Group will be hanging up their work for a second exhibition following the success of last year's show.

The 25 amateurs who create their art with watercolours, acrylics, oils, pens and pencils, are mostly self taught, said a spokesman for the group.

“We like to think that we are a friendly group of everyday people and enjoy each others company. At our meetings we will have tea, coffee and biscuits it is the usual order of the day whilst doing our art work.

“Our members enjoy seeing other members develop their pictures and helping.

They get to meet professional artists when they visit and often take part in workshops and social functions.

The show is an open event and admission is free.

It is being held at Haydon Wick’s Parish Council's offices on Thames Avenue and runs from Monday September 16 until Saturday 21. The doors are open between 11am and 4pm.
