If you are Swindon’s biggest rugby fan you could win a meeting with an ex-England rugby player and £1,000.

To mark the start of the Rugby World Cup, Brookhouse Farm pub is searching for the town's biggest rugby fan.

They will win the opportunity to watch England’s final group game against Argentina with rugby star and sports pundit, Andy Goode.

On October 5 the chosen superfan will also be able to bring five friends along to the VIP screening area, where there will be unlimited food and beer, including Greene King’s newly relaunched IPA.

Thomas Gammon, general manager at the Brookhouse Farm, said: “At the Brookhouse Farm we will be showing all key games for the Rugby World Cup and to celebrate the start of the tournament we’re looking for Swindon’s biggest rugby fan.

“So, if you live and breathe rugby and fancy £1,000 cash, as well as the chance to meet rugby legend Andy Goode, then we want to hear from you!”

Andy Goode added: “I can’t wait to meet the biggest rugby fan in the community and look forward to raising a glass with them on match day!”
