RODBOURNE: Gheorghe Pielmus, 30, of Jarrow Road, Romford, was fined £120 after he admitted stealing clothing worth over £580 from the Ralph Lauren store at Swindon’s designer outlet on September 7.

The Romanian was told to pay a £32 victim surcharge.

TOWN CENTRE: Michael Cook, 30, whose address was given as the Swindon job centre, was committed to prison for seven days for non-payment of £530 of court fines. Cook is already a serving prisoner.

TOWN CENTRE: A woman was handed a 38-month driving ban after she pleaded guilty to twice driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Georgina Perkins, 23, of Station Road, pleaded guilty to two counts of drink-driving, driving whilst disqualified and failing to surrender to police bail.

On the first occasion, when she was stopped by police on Manchester Road on July 19, she was more than three times over the drink drive limit. Breathalyser tests found she had 120 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.

She was picked up on Wharf Road, Wroughton, on September 8 with 41mg of alcohol in her system.

Magistrates banned her from driving for more than three years, gave her an eight-week curfew and ordered she complete 20 rehabilitation activity days. She must pay £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.

WALCOT: Ivor Tayler, 57, of Derby Court, was banned from driving for 14 days after he was found guilty of failing to report an accident after his Mercedes Sprinter van damaged a Citroen C1 in the car park of Kingswood Surgery on November 20 last year.

He had pleaded not guilty but was convicted at trial.

He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £230 in costs and surcharge. A charge of driving without due care and attention was dismissed.

SWINDON: Anthony Mouser, 19, of Downpatrick, Northern Ireland, was fined £80 after he admitted a charge of assault by beating. He must pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

PENHILL: Neil Pailor, 38, of Waggoner Close, was fined £80 for allowing the production of cannabis at his home. Charges that he had in his possession an axe and nine cannabis plants were dropped by the Crown. Pailor must pay £115 in costs and surcharge.

WILTSHIRE: Ervis Hasanaj, 22, of Rowley Road, Reading, will face a crown court judge after he presented identity documents to the authorities that prosecutors allege are forged.

The Albanian is said to have had in his possession a fake Italian driving licence when he was stopped in Marlborough on September 5.

No pleas were entered to a charge of possession of an identity document that was improperly obtained.

He was remanded into custody to appear before Swindon Crown Court on October 5 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

BROADGREEN: Tarsio Leite, 31, of Ponting Street, pleaded guilty to drink driving. Tests found the Brazilian had 42 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath when he was stopped behind the wheel of a Peugeot 308 on Drove Road on September 7. The limit is 35mg.

He was given a 12-month driving ban, fined £50 and told to pay a £32 victim surcharge. The fines and surcharge were deemed paid by time served.

WILTSHIRE: David Shore, 51, of Gloucester Square, Melksham, pleaded guilty to driving a Land Rover Freelander without due care and attention in his hometown on December 22. He was given seven points on his licence, fined £120 and ordered to pay £115 in costs and surcharge.

SWINDON: Christopher Forbes, 36, of Honeyborne Walk, admitted breaching the terms of a community made in March 2016 by failing to attend for probation appointments in July and August of that year.

Magistrates resentenced him on the original harassment charge. He was given a 12-month community order and told to complete 80 hours of unpaid work.

MOREDON: Stuart Ball, 43, of Daisy Close, pleaded guilty to damaging a front door, Hitachi TV, the wing mirror of a VW Beetle, sending an abusive message and threatening four women.

He was bailed by magistrates to appear before the Swindon court on September 19 for sentence.
