AN Old Town wine bar will host its first monthly LGBTQ+ night in October.
Yard 93 on Victoria Road is putting on the event every second Saturday of each month.
Phoenix Stewart is the committee member at Swindon & Wiltshire Pride welcomed the move.
“I'm really excited – it's been a long time coming. People keep asking for a venue and this is a perfect way to do it.
“I told all of my friends and they just can’t wait so already there is a lot of people interested.
"It’s such a big place that it’s expected for Swindon to have something like this but we don’t.
“People can meet up and relax and spend time together and meet new people.
"The fact they are doing this is great and we fully support it.”
The first night launch is on October 12.
