GREAT Western Hospital is holding its annual members meeting next week.

It will be looking into the £30 million funding from the government as part of its theme Way Forward Programme.

The meeting will cover extra land purchase, an integrated front door, a transitional care facility and a private patients unit.

Kevin McNamara, acting chief executive, said: “This meeting gives the people of Swindon and the wider community the option to come together and discuss their local hospital and community services. We are always keen to hear directly from patients, families, staff and the public to understand how we can ensure that the service is working for you."

It's open to anyone who wants to go along and questions can be asked.

It will be on September 26 at the hospital at 5.45pm.
