THE FATHER of missing toddler Katrice Lee says his family has been to hell and back.

Richard Lee was a sergeant major when his two-year-old daughter went missing from a supermarket in Paderborn, west Germany, in November 1981.

Yesterday, Royal Military Police made an arrest in connection with Katrice’s disappearance. Specialist officers are currently searching a home in Abbey View Road, Moredon.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror this evening, Mr Lee, now 69, said: “We all want answers, we’ve been to hell and back over the past 38 years.

“This arrest of course brings it all back and makes it feel raw.

“As with parents in all cases of missing children, we want a happy ending but that might not be the case and we just hope that we will get answers.”
