Groves Company Inn has been cleared of all stock after its surprise closure yesterday.
When the Adver visited the pub on Fleet Street today, a removal van could be seen on the road outside the doors to the building.

This van appeared to be loading up the stock from the former Wetherspoons and taking it away.
However, unlike The Steam Railway Co pub in Newport Street - which also shut its doors abruptly this week - furniture was still left inside the building.
The Adver has attempted to track down the owners of the establishment, Phoenix Pub Group, but has yet to find any contact details. The company has a registered address in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
John Stooke, magazine editor at the Swindon branch of the Campaign for Real Ale, said: "It's clearly very worrying that two more pubs have suddenly stopped trading, on top of a similar situation at the Goldfinger in Highworth and the Crumpled Horn in Eldene.
"These, what we hope will be short-term closures, come hot on the heels of the purchase of Greene King by a Chinese property developer, who also have 20 or so pubs locally.
"What unites the ownership of these businesses are interests in the property rather than interest in brewing good ale, and it makes us especially fortunate to have Arkells locally, who actually believe in their pubs.
"There is some good news, with the reopening of the Sun Inn at Lydiard, now beautifully refurbished, and the new Little Hop in Devizes Road, now properly up and running."
