BURGLARS broke into a car repair garage in Stratton but fled the scene before stealing anything.

Offenders forced entry through the front door of Auto Engine Tune on St Philip’s Road at around 5.30am on September 3.

The business’s alarm sounded immediately so they had limited time in the building.

The criminals failed to steal anything of value before running away from the premises.

Wiltshire Police have reviewed the firm’s CCTV of the incident.

The force released two images of people they would like to speak to in connection with the burglary.

PC Phil Carter from Swindon North Community Policing Team issued an appeal for information.

He said: “I know these CCTV images aren’t the clearest, but we’re hoping that some who knows them will recognise them and will be able to assist with our enquiries.

“If you have any information, no matter how small, which could help us, then please get in touch.”

Anyone with information or who recognises the person pictured should call PC Carter on 101. Alternatively, if they prefer, anyone who wants to help can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
