REVEALED: The date for the Christmas lights switch on is...
The date of Swindon’s Christmas lights switch-on has been revealed.
Festivities in the town centre will be ushered in with the big event on Saturday, November 16, inSwindon BID confirmed on its Facebook page today.
Thousands turned out to watch Tinchy Strider perform on the main stage last year.
The 2019 headliners will be announced on Wednesday afternoon.
On Facebook, inSwindon BID wrote: "Just one more sleep until we reveal the plans for this year's Festival of Christmas and Big Light Switch On which takes place on Saturday November 16 and runs until Tuesday December 31."
