A REVELLER was glassed outside a swanky Cotswolds venue on the same night as Oktoberfest celebrations.
A 34-year-old man from Swindon has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm after the assault outside Ingleside House, Cirencester.
Gloucestershire Constabulary said officers had provided first aid to a 24-year-old Cirencester man glassed outside the restaurant on Saturday night.
A Swindon man was arrested on Sunday morning. Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the attack to come forward.
Last weekend, Ingleside House was running a two-night Oktoberfest celebration with German beers and an Oompah band.
In previews of the event online, Ingleside House described the event as being bigger and better than ever.
"We are also very excited to be welcoming back the Prime Street Band for the second year running to provide us with amazing LIVE Bavarian Oompah music," they said.
