OFFICERS say they are keeping an open mind about whether a man seen acting suspiciously in Rodbourne could be linked to reports of a balaclava-clad pervert who approached a girl outside a primary school this week.
Police have released a picture of the man they would like to speak to in connection with an incident on Pasture Close on September 5.
In a Facebook post, Swindon North Police said he was seen acting suspiciously: “When the man was approached to be asked what he was doing he left the area.”

Officers said they were keeping an open mind about whether the incident was linked to reports of a man acting suspiciously on Deneb Drive, near Oakhurst Primary School, on October 9.
That afternoon, a nine-year-old girl was said to have been approached by a man wearing a balaclava, dark jogging bottoms and neon pink trainers. It was claimed he had a bag of sweets and was making inappropriate comments.
Det Sgt Justin Downes said: “The girl involved did the right thing by running away and telling her parent.”
