Elements of the Swindon Community Lottery are familiar, but there are significant differences.

Players won't be able to buy a single ticket, or get one in a shop.

The tickets, costing £1 each, will be available online at swindonlottery.co.uk or by phone at 01793 969123

Players will have to sign up for a minimum of one month's tickets, or three, six or 12 months, or can buy on a recurring monthly basis.

Players will pick six digits between 0 and 9 in any combination. Matching all six in the right order will win a jackpot of £25,000. The first or last five digits will win £2,000, the first or last four, £250 and first or last three £25.

Prizes will not be split, so matches are guaranteed the full amount of the prize.

Players can nominate which good cause they want to benefit from each ticket they buy. They can buy multiple tickets for one group, or a number of groups, but one ticket only benefits one cause.

Prizes will be paid direct into a player's nominated bank account

Tickets will go on sale from Wednesday November 13 ahead of the first draw on Saturday December 14.

There will be a draw every Saturday at 8pm after that.
