SWINDON: A drink driver was more than three times over the limit with two young children in the car.

Audi Q3 driver Sarah Maher was stopped in the car park of Wickes after an accident in Greenbridge retail park.

Tests found she had 116 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

Maher, 39, of Briars Green, St Helens, admitted drink driving, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, being found drunk in a public place while having the charge of two children under the age of seven and letting a child ride in the car without a seat belt.

CRICKLADE: Cristian Pecoraro, 29, of High Street, Cricklade, entered no pleas to charges he possessed a false Italian driving licence, drove an Audi A4 in Marlborough without insurance or a licence. He was remanded in custody to appear before Swindon Crown Court on November 1.

WALCOT: Kenny Dalgliesh, 40, of Melville Close, was jailed for 12 weeks after he admitted assaulting a woman, damaging her Chevrolet, breaching the terms of a suspended sentence order and failing to surrender to Swindon Magistrates’ Court. He must pay £100 compensation.

M4: Thomas Crampton, 41, of Bessemer Close, was fined £600 and banned from driving for 56 days after he admitted speeding on the M4 near Swindon. He must pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

M4: Dr Amr Abdel el Hawary, 45, of Falcondale, Westbury, was fined £1,315 after he pleaded guilty to speeding in his Mercedes on the M4 near Swindon. His licence was endorsed with six penalty points and ordered to pay a £131 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

M4: Emmanuel Pallot, 49, of Ryan Close, West Swindon, denies speeding on the M4 on May 14. He was bailed for the trial on January 20.

OLD TOWN: Wagner Lisboa, 53, of Celsus Grove, admitted driving without insurance and with a faulty headlamp. He was fined £692 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £69 victim surcharge.

TOWN CENTRE: Joao Almeida, 46, of Manchester Road, pleaded not guilty to a charge of sexually touching a man. He was bailed for the trial on January 20.

SWINDON: Billy-Jo Paul Cosgrave, 22, of no fixed address, admitted stealing a £300 television from John Lewis, sunglasses from Boots, and two bicycles. He was bailed to November 20 to tie up with other cases.

RODBOURNE: Eleanor Phillips, 19, of Purton, denies driving without due care and attention in the Morris Street car park, Rodbourne. She was bailed for the trial on December 23.

PINEHURST: Zaher Shakeeb, 25, of Spruce Court, Pinehurst, denies possession of a fishing fillet knife in a public place and damaging a house’s widow. He was bailed for the trial on January 23.

SWINDON: Raife Baverstock, 25, of Loiret Crescent, Malmesbury, was fined £450 for driving without due care and attention on Birch Street, Swindon, failing to stop and driving without a licence or insurance. He must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. His driving licence was endorsed with nine penalty points.

SWINDON: Benjamin Gouch, 37, of Walter Close, has denied a raft of sexual offences. They include two counts of sexually touching a woman, flashing and using threatening behaviour. He was bailed for the trial on January 13.

TOWN CENTRE: Giosue Pulieri, 47, Radnor Street, was fined £100 for driving without due care and attention on March 19. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

TOWN CENTRE: Michael Coughlin, 31, of Spring Close, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Princes Street. He was sentenced to a 12 month conditional discharge and must pay £106 in victim surcharge and costs.
