'A gutsy display'
From the opening bell it was clear to see that both men were keen to settle their nerves as they felt their way into the bout.

The early exchanges were fairly even, as the opponents swapped jabs in centre ring.
However, as the fight continued, Heenan began to grow into the contest by landing some stiff right hands that were unanswered by Solomon, despite his impressive work rate.
In the second instalment, it was more of the same as Heenan continues to assert himself.
After causing problems in the second, Heenan picked up win as Solomon retired from his stool before the third round in what was a gutsy display from both men.
