Three new polling stations will be used in Swindon in elections in the future.
In Wroughton voters who have been going to Ellendune Community Centre will now go to cat their vote at the Alexandra House Hotel.
In Mannington and Western ward the Toothill Community Centre, which has recently re-opened, will be used.
And for voters in a new part of Ridgeway ward in the Badbury Park development, the rural splendour of the Richard Jefferies Museum will also serve as a polling place.
Members of Swindon Borough Council's Conservative cabinet unanimously agreed to the suggestion put forward by the authority's democracy and elections team.
One member, Brian Ford, a ward councillor for Wroughton said: "Thank you for getting Wroughton sorted, it's been a long time coming."
Leader of the council David Renard said: "It think it's fair to say there was a temporary solution in the past and now we have a permanent one."
Local elections will be held on May 7.
