A JERICHO author has celebrated co-writing a novel with his daughter with a launch party at Modern Art Oxford.
Ray Foulk, who helped to organise the Isle of Wight rock festivals, and his daughter Caroline Foulk, worked together on the story inspired by painter Pablo Picasso.
Mr Foulk, 73, was part of the team which succeeded in getting Bob Dylan to play the festival in 1969.
After writing two books about his exploits in the music industry, he turned his attention to the art world.

Picasso’s Revenge is the art detective story he co-wrote with Ms Foulk, and they both attended the launch on Thursday at the Pembroke Street art museum.
Environmental architect Mr Foulk said: “I’m delighted the novel has now been published.
“It was a great launch night at the museum - about 90 people attended and there were interviews and presentations.
“I first got the idea for the story when I was working in an Art Deco gallery in Fulham Road in the 1970s.
The novel focuses on art collector Jacques Doucet and Picasso’s painting Les Demoiselles D’Avignon.

Mr Foulk said: “It started out as a film script but then we switched to a novel.
“Now it has come out perhaps it could be adapted for a movie at a later date.”
Mr Foulk said he enjoyed collaborating with his daughter Caroline on the novel.
He added: “We have been working together for 28 years on different projects including two books about the Isle of Wight festivals.”
Picasso’s Revenge is published by Medina Publishing and price £17.95.
