SWINDON: A man who has previously served time for kidnap was fined £80 for possession of cannabis.

Billy Livingstone, 20, was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment in 2018 for kidnapping a 13-year-old from McDonald’s.

He was back before the courts this month, where he pleaded guilty to being found in possession of cannabis on September 4. Magistrates fined him £80, ordered the destruction of the drugs and told Livingstone to pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

MAGIC ROUNDABOUT: Alan Montgomery, 25, of Squirrel Crescent, Royal Wootton Bassett, was said to be twice the drink drive limit when police caught him behind the wheel on the Magic Roundabout.

He was fined £346, given an 18-month driving ban and ordered to pay a £34 surcharge and £85 costs.

RODBOURNE: A man who threatened to kill his neighbour has been handed a community order.

Kevin Clarke, 38 of Rodbourne Road, admitted making a threat to kill a man believed to be his upstairs neighbour. Magistrates ordered he take part in up to 10 rehabilitation activity days and pay £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.

HOOK: Lewis Delicata, 25, of Hook, was fined £200 and his licence endorsed with six penalty points after he pleaded guilty to driving an uninsured Renault Megane on Purton Road and fraudulently using a registration mark. Magistrates ordered he pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

SWINDON: Liam Harvey, 28, of Waggoner Close, was given a six month conditional discharge after he pleaded guilty to causing a nuisance to NHS staff and refusing to leave the Great Western Hospital having been asked to do so. Magistrates ordered he pay £106 in costs and surcharge.

OLD TOWN: A drink driver who failed to stop at the scene of a crash has been banned from driving for three years and four months.

Joshua Illing, 23, of Croft Road, pleaded guilty to failing to stop at the scene of an accident and driving a Skoda Fabia while unfit through drink. He was banned from the roads for 40 months, fined £290 and ordered to pay £115 in costs and surcharge.

PURTON: Jodie Mahoney, 31, of Proud Close, pleaded guilty to stealing baby products and cosmetics from Boots. She was fined £40 and told to pay £117 in costs and surcharge. The sums were deemed paid by time served in custody.

TOWN CENTRE: Andrew Ratajczak, 59, of Park Lane, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating. He was bailed for a sentencing hearing on November 8.

Under his bail conditions he is banned from going to the Blunsdon House Hotel.

WALCOT: A 17-year-old has been fined £80 after pleading guilty to driving without due care and attention, driving without a licence and insurance. The boy, who cannot be named as he is under-18, was ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge and his driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

A 40-year-old woman with the same surname as the boy was fined £256 and given six penalty points after she admitted allowing him to drive the Nissan Qashqai when he was not covered by insurance and he did not have a licence. £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs were ordered.

FERNDALE: Sam Halford, 31, of Ferndale Road, pleaded guilty to drink driving. Breath tests showed he had 63 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

He was banned from the roads for 17 months, fined £387 and ordered to pay a £38 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

LIDEN: Christopher Poole, 38, of Liden Drive, was fined £60 for drug driving. He was caught behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Vectra on Corporation Street over the limit for benzoylecgonine, a cocaine derivative. Magistrates banned him from driving for three years and told him to pay £115 in costs and surcharge.

LYNEHAM: Shreeya Rowe, 35, of St Josephs Way, was fined £200 and ordered to pay £117 on costs and surcharge after she admitted a charge of assault by beating.

KINGSHILL: Corrine Skone, 29, of Nelson Street, was banned from driving for a year after she pleaded guilty to being over the benzoylecgonine and cannabis drug-drive limit. She must pay £437 in fines, costs and surcharge.

WEST SWINDON: Karla Saunders, 33, of Stonefield Close, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in West Swindon District Centre, battery, two counts of assaulting a police officer and failing to surrender to the court. She was bailed to appear before magistrates on December 19, when she faces other matters.

FRESHBROOK: Christopher Blatch, 56, of Uxbridge Road, admitted a flashing charge. He was bailed and will be sentenced on November 1.

PENHILL: Janusz Pielak, 58, of Pewham Road, was fined £120 and ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge after he admitted a charge of threatening behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. A shoplifting charge was withdrawn.

WEST SWINDON: Lucy Higgins, 33, of Dixon Way, was fined £160 for driving without insurance or a licence. Her record was endorsed with seven penalty points and she was ordered to pay £115 in costs and surcharge.

In June, Higgins was banned from driving for 19 months by Swindon magistrates after she admitted drink driving, driving without insurance or a licence.
