2 Swindon and North Wiltshire Scouts host their 2019 Firework and Bonfire Spectacular at Lydiard Park on Saturday, November 2. The gates will open at 5pm, with the bonfire lit at 6pm and the firework display set to begin at 7pm. Tickets, priced at £8 for adults and £4 for children aged 3-14, will available at the gate only, with cash preferred as card payment facilities will be limited. 3 The County Ground is the venue for the Swindon Cricket Club Family Fireworks and Bonfire 2019, which will take place on Saturday, November 2. The gates will open at 5pm, and tickets are £5 for adults with children admitted free. Early booking is recommended as tickets have sold out in the past. 4 The Fox & Hounds in Wroughton - foxandhoundswroughton.co.uk - will hold its second annual fireworks display on Sunday, November 3 from 5pm. Tickets are priced at £7 for adults and £6 for children, and a family ticket is available at £22. Visitors are promised that, following the success of last year’s display, this years will be even bigger and better.
5 Highworth Recreation Centre will host a fireworks display on Friday, November 1, with the gates opening at 6.30pm and the display scheduled to begin an hour later. Admission is priced at £6 for adults and £4 for senior citizens and children, and tickets are available at the town council offices, Highworth Emporium, the Lighthouse Bookshop, McColls and Halo Leisure at the recreation centre.
6 The Blunsdon House Hotel - www.blunsdonhouse.co.uk - has its fireworks display on Sunday, November 3 from 5pm, with the display set to start at 7pm. Tickets cost £5 per person, and further details can be obtained via the website, as can information about a special room deal for people wanting to view the display from a luxurious vantage point.
7 The Calne Bonfire and Fireworks Night will be held on Friday, November 1 from 6pm to 9pm at Beversbrook Sports Facility. In addition to the fireworks, there will be live music and entertainment, a funfair, a craft market, food, a bar and other attractions. Tickets are priced at £6.50 with various concessions available, and further information can be obtained by calling 01249 814000 or emailing calne@calne.gov.uk
8 Longleat’s Fantastic Fireworks 2019 programme continues on Friday and Saturday, November 1 and 2. Admission to the displays, which will start at 6.30pm, is included in the price of day tickets for the dates in question. 9 A firework display will be held in Bradford-on-Avon on Saturday, November 2 from 5.30pm to 8.30pm at The Beehive Field, Trowbridge Road. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2.50 for children aged 5-17 in advance or £7 and £3 on the gate, and are available from Christ Church School and Fitzmaurice Primary School and the tourist information centre. The display will start at 7pm, and there will be live music from 5.45pm.
10 This year’s Melksham Fireworks Display will be held at Oakfields Stadium on Friday, November 1 from 5pm to 9pm, with tickets costing £5 for adults and £3 for children in advance or £7 and £3 on the gate. Booking information and further details of the display can be found at www.tickettailor.com
