Threshold Housing Link received a donation coats from T0G24 to assist it with its work helping the homeless on Swindon’s streets.
The charity received over 40 coats delivered by Donna Emms, area supervisor of TOG24, which has a shop in Swindon’s Designer Outlet.
Throughout October, the Swindon store had led a national Swap-A-Coat campaign with Threshold Housing Link, where customers could bring their old coats into TOG24’s Outlet store to be donated to the charity in return for 15 per cent off a new coat.
Michael Keenan, chief development officer at the charity said: “No sooner had we taken delivery, then these coats were already being distributed to those in need and those sleeping rough on the streets of our town.
"These warm winter coats are providing some greater protection against the frosty and freezing conditions we’ve seen this week.
"It’s truly great to have the support of such a community champion.”
