SWINDON’S youth magazine #iDare is celebrating the end of its first year with a black-tie gala dinner event next month.
The magazine is a social enterprise project entirely overseen and written by young people from Swindon.
A winter wonderland-themed awards ceremony with a three course meal will be held at the Hilton hotel from 6pm on Sunday, December 2.
The Platform Project’s director Sadie Sharp said: “This is a community event celebrating the trailblazing achievements of the #iDare youth publication – Swindon’s first publication run entirely by young people for young people.
“Members of the youth publishing team have all overcome personal challenges whilst publishing some inspiringly honest content, and we want to commend them for their efforts.”
Tickets cost £35 each, or £25 each for charities and other non-profit groups.
