DETECTIVES condemned as unprovoked a car park attack that almost resulted in the victim losing his leg.
On Wednesday, Lee Goodchild was jailed for 13 years and 10 months for crushing Bradley Atkinson in the Spotted Cow pub car park in April.

Det Con Clare Sylvester-Wyness of Swindon CID said: "This was an horrific offence which has left the victim with long-lasting physical and psychological injuries.
"Not only did Goodchild inflict these injuries deliberately in an unprovoked attack, using his car as a weapon, but he also then fled the scene and was subject of a county-wide manhunt in the days that followed.
"I welcome the sentence. I know that nothing will ever undo the damage he has caused his victim, but I hope this reassures the victim that justice has been done."
