Lyneham saw 1,000 soldiers march through the village in a Remembrance Sunday parade.
The soldiers were from eight Training Battalion Royal Electronic and Mechanical Engineers plus a detachement of Royal Marines.
The salute was taken by Major General Mark Gaunt CB before the column of soliders continued to the REME museum, next to MOD Lyneham, where an outdoor military drumhead remembrance service was held.
The service included a two-minute silence followed by a bagpiper and a song performed by the Fijian Choir which is made up of Wiltshire-based Fijian soldiers.
