PARK NORTH: Brandon Rouse-McCue, 22, of Lyndhurst Crescent, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words our behaviour intending to cause a woman harassment, alarm or distress.

He also pleaded guilty to taking a Vauxhall Astra without the consent of its owner and driving the 17-plate car without a licence.

Rous-McCue was sentenced to a six month community order and was banned from parts of Park North bounded by Kingswood Avenue, Welcombe Avenue, Lyndhurst Crescent and Cowley Walk.

He was banned from the roads for six months, banned from contacting his victim for a year and ordered to pay a £90 victim surcharge.

STRATTON: Clifford Haynes, 53, of Ermin Street, was fined £377 and banned from driving for 14 months after he admitted drink driving.

Haynes was behind the wheel of a white van when he was found to have the equivalent of 48 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He must pay £122 in costs and surcharge.

TOOTHILL: Vincent Shuff, 35, of Stamford Close, was given a 12 month conditional discharge for stealing five bottles of alcohol from Waitrose. He was ordered to pay £106 in costs and surcharge.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: James Stanley, 25, of Peasedown St John, Bath, was fined £120 for being twice over the drink drive limit.

The white Transit van driver was given a 19 month roads ban and ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

PINEHURST: Roy Elliott, 42, of Limes Avenue, was given a three month conditional discharge for damaging a door belonging to a woman on June 6.

He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

WEST SWINDON: Leighton McGowan, 36, of Walter Close, The Prinnels, admitted assaulting a man and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress.

He was fined £120, must pay £100 compensation and £115 in costs and surcharge.

SWINDON: Charlotte Mullen, 21, who gave a care of address of Hatherway Road, had been charged with assaulting another woman. She had pleaded not guilty and prosecutors offered no evidence. The charge was dismissed.

WANBOROUGH: A man accused of burgling Wanborough Village Hall will go before a Swindon judge.

Kevin Dunn, 42, of Underdown Close, has been charged with burglary. It is said he stole laptops and a hard drive worth £1,000 on September 14.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Swindon Crown Court on November 15.

WILTSHIRE: Arnold Kaaheke, 39, of Hewes Close, Colchester, has been charged with being in possession of a false Portuguese passport in the name of Tony Vantonder.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Swindon Crown Court on November 15.

SWINDON: Shoplifter Joshua McClean, 35, of no fixed address, has been jailed for five weeks. He had failed to attend induction appointments with the probation service as required under the terms of a 12 week suspended sentence handed to him for a series of thefts from Superdrug.

TOWN CENTRE: Angela Money, 31, of Shepherd Street, denies battery. She was bailed for the trial on February 17.

SWINDON: Colin Davis, 42, of Wolsely Avenue, pleaded guilty to stalking. He was bailed for the sentencing hearing at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on November 14.

SWINDON: Michael Smith, 51, of Wildern Square, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her.

He was given an 18-month community order by magistrates. He must complete up to 15 rehabilitation activity days and 120 hours of unpaid work.

A restraining order prevents him from contacting his victim for the next 18 months. Smith must pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

GRANGE PARK: Lee Sedgelov, 40, of Holbein Close, will stand trial for the alleged attempted theft of a vacuum cleaner and food preparation machine worth £168.80 from Tesco.

He was bailed for the trial at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on December 30. Under his bail conditions he must live and sleep at his home address.
