TWO men accused of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin in Eldene will face a crown court judge.

Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Friday afternoon, Jack Parfitt and Aaron Betterton spoke only to confirm their personal details.

Parfitt, 18, of Rose Street, Rodbourne, and Betterton, 19, of Bowleymead, Eldene, have both been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply class A drugs to undercover police officers.

Neither man entered pleas to the charges.

Magistrates remanded the pair in custody to appear before Swindon Crown Court on December 20 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

Pauline Lambert appeared for the Crown. Gordon Hotson represented Betterton and Parfitt.

Friends and members of the men's families packed the public gallery in Court Three of Swindon Magistrates' Court.

The two men's court appearance followed a police raid on a Bowleymead home on Wednesday.
