Swindon Designer Outlet is hoping to add to the Christmas festivities by hosting a centre-wide Black Friday event.

It is already hosting a Christmas market and hopes to boost footfall from bargain-hunters.

Key discounts include: Joules – 20% off outlet price.

Fossil – 30% off outlet price on selected styles.

Molton Brown – 20% off outlet price. Exclusions apply.

Gap – 50% off outlet price.

Tina Cupstey, centre manager for the Outlet, said: “Black Friday is one of our most successful events throughout the year and one we know out local community looks forward to each year.

“We are delighted to be able to offer our guests even bigger savings on brands including Ted Baker and Nike which we hope visitors will enjoy and use as a great opportunity to continue Christmas shopping or simply treat themselves.”

For the event, the Outlet will be hosting ‘flash sales’ throughout the day.

Tina added: “Brands will be offering exclusive discounts for one hour only. And we will be offering a shop and drop service which will give shoppers the chance to drop off their bags to members of the team, who will keep them safe whilst they continue to shop.”

Despite fears that online deals will keep people at home rather than venturing out to the centre, Tina said: “We believe our centre is more than just a shopping centre. We offer a unique experience where visitors can get prices that aren’t available online.
