A bank card has been stolen from a car at Morrisons on Thames Avenue.
Police have released a CCTV image of the person they would like to speak to about the incident.
The card was taken from an unlocked car at around 2.30pm on Thursday November 14 while the victim was returning their shopping trolley.
It is believed that the suspect watched the victim paying for her shopping so that he could take note of her pin number.
Police believe a second person distracted the victim in the car park in order to give more time to take the card.
The card has since been used for a number of transactions in banks and shops in Swindon and Dunstable.
On Facebook, North Swindon Police added: We would also like to urge people to be mindful of making sure that people aren't trying to watch them enter their pin number, either at a cashpoint or at a till in a shop, and to be careful of leaving their bag or purse unattended."
Anyone with information should call 101 with crime reference number 54190113492.
