Voters heading out on election day should be braced for a cold snap.
The Met Office is currently predicting temperatures to drop to as low as one degree next week, bringing with it the risk of snow and frost.
However, the long range report from the weather centre predicts that snow will not fall on election day, despite the cold temperatures.
Rain is more likely to take hold which could increase the risk of frost across the south west.
