ONE of Britain's most influential bands will take to the forests next year to play their 'nutty' tunes to music-lovers.

Serial chart-toppers Madness have announced they will play at Westonbirt Arboretum in June as they complete their Forest Live tour.

The Ska legends celebrated their 40th anniversary this year and sold out on their London tour.

Forest Live is a summer concert series run by Forestry England which encourages listeners to enjoy nature while experiencing their favourite artists.

More than 1.9 million people have attended a Forest Live concert in the last nineteen years, since they were founded.

The concerts have a reputation for being relaxed due to the natural setting they are played in.

Madness will be joined by support acts guests The Farm and Emily Capell.

They will play at the arboretum on June 13, and tickets cost £47.

Tickets go on sale on Friday morning and can be bought at www.forestryengland.uk/music.
