WILLING volunteers are needed to help Swindon Samaritans make sure the lonely and vulnerable have someone to talk to over Christmas.
The charity is expecting an increase in the number of people calling its helpline over the festive period. A spokeswoman explained: “Listening can make a huge difference for those who find that the Christmas spirit only exacerbates feelings of loneliness and anxiety.”
