A TEENAGER was arrested after a large group of youths were involved in a fight at Highworth Junior Football Club.
The incident happened between 10pm and 10.30pm on January 4.
A second incident of violent disorder then followed shortly after on Swindon Street.
During the disorder, the group damaged two cars.
A 16-year-old boy from Swindon was arrested and interviewed in relation to the criminal damage and has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Police are appealing for help in finding the group of youths.
Local crime investigator Emma Patmore said: “We understand there was a large group of youths between the ages of 14 and 17 present during the disorder, who were from both Highworth and Swindon.
“Not all of them were involved in the disorder but they will have information regarding the incident, and we would be very keen to speak to them.
“I’d appeal to any of those who were present, as well as any parents who know their children were in the area at the time, to contact police on 101.”
