A CYCLIST suffered head and leg injuries after being hit by a car on Drakes Way.
The car collided with a 40-year-old man around 4.10pm on Monday near the Car Shop and Ford garage. He visited hospital the day after to have his injuries assessed.
The female driver of the car stopped to speak to the cyclist at the roadside to ensure he was ok, but no details were exchanged.
Officers investigating the collision are appealing for witnesses.
The collision happened at approximately 4.10pm on Monday 13 January.
