A new e-newsletter has been launched by Swindon Borough Council to keep people updated about its upcoming projects.
New Eastern Villages will span 724 hectares and will bring 8,000 homes, new schools and community facilities.
For the development to go ahead, the council has prioritised the need upgrade the roads and junctions around the A419.
The newsletter will be distributed once a month and will give updates on the £72.5m roads programme, which includes sites such as the White Hart roundabout and the Nythe Road junction.
Councillor Gary Sumner said: “The new e-newsletter is an effective way for residents and businesses to keep up to date with all the latest information that relates to the scheme and I would fully encourage people to sign up.
“It will be delivered to peoples’ inboxes every month and should prove to be a useful resource, containing interesting and engaging content, over the coming months and years.”
