Queues after accident blocks Purton Road
A two-car crash left Purton Road blocked both ways for over an hour.
The incident was between Thamesdown Drive and Westfield Way.
Queues formed but traffic coped well.
It had a knock-on effect on connecting roads and the rest of Purton Road.
A spokesman for the police said: "We were called at approximately 6am to a two vehicle collision in Purton Road, Moredon.
"The road was blocked.
"Vehicles involved were a Seat Leon and a Vauxhall Astra.
"The road was clear by 7.15am."
