A RELIEVED dog owner is over the moon after her missing pooch was found.
Cara Ashton-Tune, 35, lost her Pomeranian chihuahua cross Lilly-Rose on January 9.
Her friend Mark had taken the dog on a walk near the Merlin pub in Drove Road when he tripped over, letting the lead go.
But she received a phone call from a woman who had found Lilly-Rose in some shrubs at Copse Avenue.
Cara said: “I can’t even describe how I’m feeling, it’s just amazing that she has been found. As soon as she saw me she came straight over and she hasn’t left my side since.
“I’m just so grateful to everyone who helped look for her.
"She’s had a check-up and the vets and now we are just cuddling at home.”
