A BOY has been charged after a stabbing in East Wichel on Friday.
Wiltshre Police said the 17-year-old boy had been remanded in custody and will appear before Swindon magistrates on Monday morning.
The boy has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a class B drug and affray.

It follows a stabbing on Friday at around 3pm. A man in his 20s was stabbed multiple times on Mattocks Path, near the canal in East Wichel.
Five teenagers were arrested following the incident, all aged 17 and 18.
Det Sgt Justin Downes of Swindon CID said: "This was a nasty assault but luckily does not seem to have caused life-threatening injuries to the victim.”
Four of the young men arrested in the wake of the stabbing have been released on bail, a Wiltshire Police spokeswoman said.
