FLOODING and freezing temperatures have forced officers to close a road due to dangerous driving conditions.
Royal Wootton Bassett and Cricklade police said the unclassified road between Lydiard Millicent and Purton had to be shut this morning due to the road being flooded.
Sheet ice has formed on either side of the flood.
RWB police said on Twitter: “The council has been asked to assess the road.”
