A ROAD rage driver aimed his Ford Focus at the man who had told him off for dropping litter.

Appearing before Salisbury Crown Court, Warren Fenty, 22, of Blackthorn Way, Staverton, was jailed for more than three years after he admitted dangerous driving, ABH and possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

Fenty was behind the wheel of his Ford in August 2018 on Marston Road, Trowbridge, when he was reprimanded by a man, 40s, for dropping litter from his car.

He drove his car at the victim, a man in his 40s, before turning at the last minute. The man was struck by the passenger side of the Ford and sustained minor injuries.

Three months later, Fenty was driving a Ford Transit when he was stopped by police. The van was searched and officers found cash and a stash of cocaine.

He has been jailed for three years and three months and banned from driving for three years and one month.

Sgt Leighton Williams of Wiltshire Police said: “The incident in Marston Road is particularly concerning and it is easy to see that the outcome could have been very different. Fenty used his car as a weapon to intimidate and potentially seriously injure his victim."
