EXTINCTION Rebellion is putting on mindfulness events this year.
The Swindon branch of the environmental group is hosting the sessions every last Sunday of the month throughout 2020.
Mindfulness is the process of paying more attention to the present moment through mediation and other practices.
It is said to help people become calmer as well as helping with anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.
A spokesperson for the event said: “We’ll be practising a little mindfulness, sharing food and nattering about what’s going on in the group. Bring food if you fancy making it, yourselves and your interests. It’ll be fun and provide a space to decompress a little.”
It will take place on Sunday at 6pm at the Friends Meeting House.
