DETECTIVES remain at a house in Penhill after the bomb squad was called in yesterday.

The army was seen at the house on Urchfont Way, Penhill, after a drugs squad raid uncovered what police would only call “suspicious items”.

A spokeswoman for the force refused to say what the items were.

Det Insp Paul Franklin said: “We anticipate there will be a continued police presence at the house over the coming days while we carry out our investigation.
