They wrote in an objection to the authority: “We live at Portman Close, which is directly opposite the BP garage.

"Our front garden is open plan and even with the present opening hour[s] we find empty cans and bottles.

Bracknell News:

“We sometimes have loud shouting and swearing and think if alcohol is sold for 24 hours it will attract people turned out of pubs who still want to drink.”

The station opens 24 hours a day, seven days a week currently.

Licensing chiefs will decide on the plans at a meeting on Tuesday, January 28.

Should the plans get the green light, booze would have to be consumed off-site.

Bracknell News:

The plans come after BP also extended the hours it can sell alcohol from at its Crowthorne station on Bracknell Road.
