POLICE got an "early hit" in an evening operation after seizing a Range Rover.
Officers from the Steerside Enforcement Team had only been out for 10 minutes when they "tripped over" a "beast".
The silver Range Rover had no insurance, tax or an MOT.
It was subsequently seized.
The driver was also reported for all of the offences.
A police spokesperson said: "Out of the nick for 10 mins.
"Tripped over this beast that doesn’t have insurance, tax or an MOT.
"Driver reported for all offences and vehicle seized.
"Early hit on tonight’s operation."
